AI Face Recognition to Automatically Crop Headshots
Crop.photo offers a bulk headshot automation that intelligently recognizes different parts of the body in an image, and crops them in the desired locations. Choose the crop marker, such as between the eyes and shoulder, and Crop.photo’s AI Face Recognition will automatically find the right markers, and crop images accordingly. TTI used this feature to crop two photos for each employee - one from head to shoulders, and another from head to elbow. This saved a vast amount of time compared to manual editing, and also minimized human error, ensuring photos would be cropped in the same way, and looked like a uniform cohesive set.
Background Removal and Replacement
TTI requires that photos of employees have the same uniform light gray background.
Because of the wide international presence of the company, photos are taken from around the world by different photographers with dissimilar backdrops. It was very time-consuming and tedious to manually crop out backgrounds for each image, and replace each one with the uniform gray color.
