The API automatically adjusts image dimensions to fit different aspect ratios, crucial for uniform presentation across digital platforms. This feature also includes alignment adjustments, ensuring that all apparel images look centered while replacing the background with given color or background image.
To maintain the narrative and aesthetic appeal of lifestyle images, Crop.photo’s AI Lifestyle API was used to perform careful cropping that preserves the image backgrounds, thereby retaining the story each image tells.
Older images that did not meet the current high-resolution standards were upscaled to 1038x1372. This upscaling ensures that all visuals are sharp and clear, enhancing the overall appearance of the products on the new platform. This is also used for swatch creation by upscaling images from 30x30 to 100x100, crucial for getting detailed views of fabrics, colors and materials.
